Búzios - The fishing village, as it was formerly known, gained worldwide fame as the "heavenly haven where Brigitte Bardot was hiding from the press harassment" in the 60s. In honor of the actress, Buzios named the shore that connects the Rua das Pedras and Bones Beach (Praia dos Ossos) as "Bardot" which also features a bronze sculpture of that actress.
